How can McCain sit there and tell me his plan will cover my health insurance? First of all, $5,000 is only for married couples. Singles only get $2,500 a year. My health insurance, which my company pays half of, still costs me $40/week, $2080/year, pre-tax. If the small business I work for decided they didn't want to pay taxes on the half they pay for me (which they only pay because it is tax deductible for them), it would cost me $4,200/year pre-tax. And I am a young and healthy 23 year-old with no previous conditions! How is this tax cut for health care supposed to help me?
