(no subject)
surprise call from cody this evening, thank you god. "don't worry babe, i'm not going anywhere," was probably the sweetest string of words i've heard in the last 72 hours. i can't wait to sit down and talk to him in person. i want to sit across from him, face to face, my legs curled under me and my hands in my lap, my lips forming words like, "i've dreamt of this moment for the last seven months" and the sounds translating into the same melody he's been unable to shake from his mind for the last few hundred days.
i had a dream last night where when certain constellations lined up just right over the state of montana, the entry way into the universe emerged from inky night's surface - dripping in poetry. and snowflakes fell and couples canoodled on ski lifts into the sky, embarking on a journey together into the complete unknown (and most utterly romantic).
but instead of hopping on the lift with them, i fell off into a murky puddle, broken and lonesome.
i miss my love so much.
i am an emotional mess.
i want the next forty days to pass at the speed of light. or at least of the speed of sound, please.
