it's officially the xmas season at my house

we put up the tree today. always a fun thing. damian was helping out with the lower branches. you can tell where he helped out, because there's two patches with a whole bunch of ornaments surrounded by alot of empty space (nash will probably fx it later). either way, it was really cute watching damian help trim the tree with a winnie the pooh santa hat on. i love my nephew.

i had to do a portrait sitting with my sisters today. apparently that's the gift for the parents and grandparents this year. portraits of me and my sisters. yay fun. ok, they did turn out really cute (minus my hair looking frizzy). of course looking at my sisters' hair made me miss my long hair so... yeah... it's official, i'm growing it out. before i was just not getting it cut in order to not spend money, but now i'm growing it out (shut up, it makes sense to me).

while waiting for the photos to get developed i had a little adventure in tri county mall. and did i mention that i saw daniel's brothers when i was going into the picture place. well now i did, anyway. after the pictures ari stopped at auntie anne's to buy a diet coke. and ended up getting a pretzel. and another diet coke for nash. and another pretzel for me. sometimes, having sisters can be fun. nash and ari then went out to the car to have a smoke and grab a coupon (which they forgot anyway). i on the other hand wandered over to b.dalton's. a book on egyptology had caught my eye, so i went to go look at it. it turned out to be just a pretty cover with lots of pictures for small children. maybe i'll get it for damian in a year or two if i see it again. he's not old enough to understand it yet i think. anyway, i didn't get the book. but i did run in to jenny and emily and joe, friendly types i left behind at wwhs. caught up, had some laughs, found out what spring musical is goung to be. and i could easily beat ms g now. beauty and the beast! the musical is going to be beauty and the beast! if we had done that last year, i'd have done cast. fuck college audition. i'd have probably been belle! so yeah. i was a little hot over it. of course that didn't stop me from asking them to find out if there was an oboe part in the pit music that needed filling (shut up, i haven't performed anything since june and i'm having withdraw and it ain't pretty).

well, the adventure continued to me meeting up with nash at halmark. then we went on a little quest to find my boyfriend an x-mas gift. in the end i found a little gag-gift that i had to get him because i thought it was funny but definately isn't all that i'm getting him. i also found something for his buddy (yes nick that means you) and for jason. both of which are also funny. i almost got daniel something at the disney store but i wasn't completely happy with it (since when does peter pan have a bow and arrows. hello, he's not robin hood. he has a sword, a dagger, a pixie and can fly. no arrows). so yeah. still searching for a gift for my significant other. you'd think i'd have an easier time with that considering i've seen or at least talked to him everyday since june 1. go figure that one.

then nash and i met jason at dave and buster's for dinner. (note to self, don't ever go in the general direction of dave and busters without a pair of gym shoes and a sports bra on hand. just in case.) i spent most of my eating time looking at the pump it up machine and being really made that i was wearing boots with a heel. yeah... can't play in any sort of heel. there's other games close enough to the platforms that if i fell off, i'd have a pretty good chance of getting a pretty little concussion from some heavy, electronic entertainment devices. not my idea of fun. however, there are some new deserts there that made the whole thing worth it. ^_^

anyway, it's now 140 am and well, i'm done typing about stuff. so.. yeah.. ciao
