Jacqueline Marie Wink (Jack) - Frustrated, angst-full, bossy, bad tempered teenager that helps Kit Lambert Manage the band. Keith and Kit knew her as a child and she spends her summers in England working in the studio while her winters are spent at her grandparents’ house in Ireland where she attends Alexandra College. Although she’s quite the talented keyboard player, she wishes to learn to play drums in order to impress Keith, “beat Blue at her own game”, and “control the band inside and out”. She is thirteen years old when the story begins.
Blue - Tiny, peaceful, drummer, hippy girl who was found by John Entwistle in the first chapter of the story. Quite a good percussionist, she is favored especially by Keith and John who play the main parental roles in her life. She’s rather good at the technical aspect of the studio and often helps Pete when he doesn’t accept help from Kit Lambert or Chris Stamp. Although the first week of her staying with the band she would not speak, she’s a very social, very loving girl who will often climb into your lap and cuddle you at any random moment. She especially loves to cling to John and Pete who aren’t too keen on the huggles. You’ll never find her calling any of them by their proper names either. Usually, she’ll find some cute nickname for them. (ie. Petey, JohnJohn, Keithy, Rogey, KitKit, etc.) She often times gets very annoyed with Pete when he acts too strict or ignores her, but their relationship is fine. She is nine years old when the story begins.
John Alec Entwistle - Bass player for the Who - known for his dry sense of humor and insightful wit. Appears apathetic to most situations when, in reality, he’s a very caring and opinionated man. He found Blue in the winter of 1964 and has raised her from a small girl. He is considered a father figure to her, but not much of a disciplinarian. He has a strange love for spiders and collecting guitars. He’s best friends with Keith Moon and the two of them often get hours of enjoyment by torturing Pete Townshend. He is twenty years old when the story begins.
Keith John Moon - Drummer for the Who - known for his destructive personality and wild antics. He is a very loud, fun-loving boy who is attached to Blue at the hip. He plays a very brother-like role in her life and loves to “borrow” her for certain days to show her around town, though this didn’t happen a lot with Pete being so restrictive about what Keith was allowed to do with her. Though on the outside his attitude seems very immature and foolish, Keith is actually a very caring, savvy boy. He’s a brilliant percussionist and loves to sing (though he’s not too good at it). John has referred to him before as a badly behaved puppy. He is eighteen years old when the story begins.
Peter Dennis Blandford Townshend - Lead guitarist, singer, and songwriter for the Who - known for his musical genius and his crazy stage presence. Often seems very grumpy, but knows when to act cool. He seems to favor Jack over Blue who he is often harsh t because she is “too weak” and “needs to toughen up if she wants to work with him”. In reality, he pities Blue immensely and is very strict about where she goes and what she’s allowed to do solely for her safety. He doesn’t trust her life in Keith’s hands at all and has been trying, unsuccessfully, for years to make sure she does not get too close to him. He is nineteen years old when the story begins.
Roger Harry Daltrey - Lead singer for the Who - known for swinging his microphone by the cord during songs and, to the ladies, his good looks. Is a tremendous fighter and former trouble maker. However, he’s very serious about music and would do just about anything for his band. When Blue came, and remained silent for a long time, he was the first to get her to talk again. Though they’ve grown apart through the years, they still have a loving connection. He is nearly twenty-one when the story starts.
Basically, John (Entwistle) finds this homeless girl and asks if she wants to come home with him. For some reason they all live in the same house (dun ask...has something to do with a dream I had) and Pete is really unhappy about her living there. Keith is pretty much thrilled that there's some sort of excitement in their lives and Roger's just plain concerned with the whole situation. The girl's name, from what Roger has gathered, is Blue. That is pretty much the only thing any of them know about her. She won't talk to any of them, not even John since they got home. She's almost completely antisocial (except for following John around like a dog) and totally silent. She sleeps in John's room while he sleeps on the couch. Pete wants to get rid of her before Jack gets home, but John and Keith want to keep her. Roger's still working on getting her to talk. After about a week, he succeeds, and she slowly she begins to become more attached to the group.
They are like a big family until a few months later when Jack gets back from school and finds she's been "replaced". This causes problems and Jack does not get along with Blue at all. She absolutely hates her and that never changes...ever. The rest of the story is basically just random episodes they have. It sounds so stupid and corny, I know, but I suck at writing. And I think it's funny. The story starts out in 1964 and I think it'll end near Keith's death somewhere with Blue like running away or something. xD I suck at this.
Here's like...the only good part of anything ever wrote for it. It's one of the times Roger was trying to get her to talk:
Roger looked at the girl sideways. "You can talk to me," he told her. "I promise I won't bite." A sheepish grin spread over his face, but he still got nothing from the girl but a sad stare - not even a twinkle in her eye. Roger sighed and looked away. "You don't have to tell me your name if you don't want," he said quietly.
Behind him, he heard a noise. He turned quickly to look at the girl. Had she just spoken?! "P-Pardon me?" he asked, still careful not to frighten her. "Blue," she said apathetically.
"I'm Sorry?
"Blue," she repeated. "It's my name." Roger stared at her, mouth hanging open slightly. "You...so...you're name is Blue?" The girl nodded slightly. "Why...I mean...why didn't you talk before?" Blue looked at him thoughtfully. "You were intimidating."
Roger was taken aback. "And John's not?!" Blue giggled for the first time that week. "John was the first person who ever showed me compassion," she explained. Roger stared at her blankly. "He spoke to me and he didn't order me to do anything. He tried to help me, not hurt me. When you told me I didn't have to answer, I knew that you weren't going to force me. I like that." Roger gaped at her. "Oh," was all he managed to get out, "Well then...I'm glad you trust me."
Kay....so that's it. I know it's stupid...please don't laugh. Well...you can. But tell me if it's stupid or not. I need to toughen up. I need harsh critics! Just please don't hurt me.
