I am {shining for God}
stuff is craaazy. argh
but I really, really need to share this today:
today I was walking down the yellow staircase in meh mood, life's been mundane and mediocre and there are a lot of things I don't get. Like I don't get the PSB snowflake initiative where people fill up the blank "I am __________ and I'm proud to be ME". :/ People usually write nonsensical stuff anyway haha so I've haven't bothered to read anything pasted on the yellow wall :p
but today I turned around one corner of the staircase and BAM

the best kind of surprises are the ones you never expected to be there and the ones you really needed even though you didn't know you did. Just seeing that pasted there so obnoxiously outstanding against everything else, I just stopped in my tracks in AWE. Awe of the kind of reminders God can literally paste in front of your face, awe of the kind of Christians in my school, ohmy after my stunness I went to the gb room and Zhixin told me "there are a lot of verses" so I went back and saw so many more pasted on the wall and I can't describe in full the impact it has on me ahhhh :) :) :) I think in that instant it moved me from a state of apathy that I've been living in to a state of conscious shining. yah it's just a piece of paper but it gave me this sudden surge of inspiration to keeping shining, stop hiding my light, stop hiding my light out of fear for goodness sake. "There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear" - 1 John 4:18
