This is how out of things to say I am:

1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
- Inspired by Ju: wore a bikini all summer, didn't care that my fat rolls hung out.
-Was entirely self-sufficient, which Bridget would disagree with, but in the context of my mind, it works.
- Made out with randoms at bars (was always coupled when drinking age).
- Did the hard thing, rather than the easy thing.
- Made an 80 average in university (which technically doesn't count, since high school was all above 80...)
- Drove long distances (to Canada's wonderland) on the 401.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't think I made any last year. Oh wait, I did, and I did it. (Make myself happy again).

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Not this year.

5. What countries did you visit?
Canada, since I live there, the US, Portugal, and I attempted to get my uncle to keep driving the extra half hour so we'd hit the Portugal-Spain boarder, but he said no. : (

6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
Sanity... My true love. But I can wait ten years to marry him.

7. What date from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
May 24 weekend as a whole. cemented the PBS bond, was a great, hilarious, stupid weekend.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Doing things I needed to do.
Going on a "real first date".

9. What was your biggest failure?
Doing things I needed to do not quite as well as I could have.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Well, in the month of August I burnt my face with a marshmallow, and THEN! Punctured my ear drum. If you didn't already hear about it many a time. Coughed for 2 months too.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Ilderton Luda Steph's last name (my ipod). Presents that people appreciated.

12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
Bridget and Peige's. It's been a year of growing up for the three of us. To quote Bridget - ""If you want to find yourself and change your life for the better, apply to Remark Fresh Markets, Hyde Park and Oxford". Beware though, they might fire your ass for no reason."

13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
If you know me, you know.

14. Where did most of your money go?
School, ipod, books, food, CDs

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Camping, Portugal, being single and actually realizing that I was actually single (which I am no longer that excited about due to the prevalence of couples right now).

16. What songs will always remind you of 2005?
My hump, my hump, my hump, my hump!
and "peeling potatoes with my fingers, peely peely peel - Potato version of hollaback girl. And Slow Hands by Interpol. And anything Abba.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? happier overall. Melancholy these past couple of weeks.
ii. thinner or fatter? Thinner.
iii. richer or poorer? richer.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
More friendly, less histrionics.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Wallowing in self pity (see December and august).

20. How did you spend Christmas?
With my crazy family, yelling, screaming, eating lots of food, playing trivial pursuit, and watching old videos.

21. How will you be spending New Years?
Worked, went to the bar, went to a different bar, melted because I saw one of the loves of my life, went to a party, went home.

22. Did you fall in love in 2005?
In my head! bahah. Sigh.

none

24. What were your favourite TV programmes?
Uh, need we ask? Amazing Race!

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Nope, I hate no one. Except for people I've hated for years.

26. What was the best book you read?
Ummmmmmm, On the Road perhaps?

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Wolf Parade

28. What did you want and get?
I got one thing I wanted.

29. What did you want and not get?
The loves of my life (I keep forgetting about the original - huggable. Hmmm)

30. What was your favourite film of this year?
Sin City. No. Umm. Wow. What films did I see this year? Crash was good the first time. Pride and Prejudice was very good. Perhaps that, or maybe Narnia.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
20... I got up early, cleaned my house as crappy Floridian relatives were arriving with sarnia relatives. drove with those relatives to TO, visited with my great aunt and her daughter, Happy birthday was sang at lunch. Drove to Ikea, on the way we were passed by a convoy carrying the Chinese president. Drove home after going to Ikea, had dinner with extended dad's family (already mentioned), then went to kali's, then went to stupid Jack's with my beloved birthday twin and friends. Went home.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
bhahaha, what do you think? Love of my life!

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005?
Jeans, t-shirt (threadless) with longer tank underneath. NO scratch that. WORK UNIFORM.

34. What kept you sane?
My friends.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
I have this serious girl crush on Rachel McAdams. I admit it.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
Was rather apolitical this year, oddly.

Pat, Ian, Jessie Q. What the hell happened to y'all lately?

Work people.

I am worth more than I think I am.
