Aaah, don't you just *love* Chaucer? No really, I do. The whole easy to understand Middle English, and the fact that Word alwaysthinks you have some spelling problem when you write it out.
I have to study The Pardoners Tale and how it was adapted into the film A Simple Plan (1998). Sarcasm aside, it's kind of interesting. Especially seeing as our assessment involves writing a monologue (O joy, something I'm good at).
Chaucer's not too bad, but when you're forced to read and analyse his stuff, it can get very tedious.
I'm feeling nice today, but cold.
Lots of people have been reviewing my major work for English Extension 2 ("The Enemy OR How to Promote an Intentional War")on fictionpress, which is really cool. Especially because it's been really great feedback.
I have my major assessment on Wednesday for that.
I'm also very scared. Because tomorrow I have to go to the dentist and get crowns. And I don't know how long it will take, or how painful it will be. So I am actually feeling terrified.
But never mind. I'll just think about my dear Chaucer while I sit in the lovely chair.
