(no subject)
holy hell, i had an awesome weekend. and i have been morphed into a phish fan in a matter of days.
we left thursday night around 11 in the blue/orange school bus. with seven of us total it was a pretty comfy ride. we got to the gorge at 4 am and set up camp and watched the sun rise. we had a dance party in the bus for a while and played with the garbage cans. we were real excited.
i got tickets from someone selling them in the campground for 30 bucks each, half of the actual price. both of the shows were amazing. friday night we had a spot in the middle of the grass in the center, from there the hill was so steep. it was a really dance-y night. saturday started a little slower and turned into more dancy at the end. we had a sweet spot in the terraces and we were surround by 30+ acquaintances. in the middle of the show we went down to the front.
the crew i went with was so perfect. it was really random and we are all just sort of friends, with a couple who hadn't yet met in the mix. so it was perfect. we all collaborated and took care of eachother.
i'm seriously considering going to california for the halloween show, if i can scrape up the ducats. but if i do you know i will be starting on my halloween costume asap.
i have no time on my hands, so i don't know why i'm posting. i need to:
-write an evaluation
-pay bills
-pack for meltdown tomorrow (holy shit..... thats a chore)
-pack for olympic peninsula trip on sunday
-help with art/decoration creation tonight for free meltdown ticket
-read for class (many chapters)
-borrow a truck and move final things from our last house.
-shower
-get over the fact that phish is over for now.
-pay back a friend for bus gas
-sell the meltdown tickets that i bought
