The way to win my lovin!

Well here's an update for you on like, my whole summer. I'm stupid and like to go in chronological order so now you deal with everything after Costa Rica to somewhere around the present depending on where I stop.

Hm..we are now backtracking to June, ladies and gents.

June 25 - first day back..quite a sad, sad day.

June 26 - actually went to swim practice cuz we had an away swim meet vs. Plum that we won! Yay!

June 27 - went to the doctor at 11:15..what an ungodly hour! But I got my physical and junk so it was useful. Also got prescription medicine for my very mild swimmers ear so it didn't end up getting any worse, thankfully. That night I went to the Sip'n'Dip at MSC with Katie and her fam. Took money for awhile then played cards and hung around the pool til we left!

June 28 - did nothing all day except prepare for the beautiful concert that I witnessed that night! Waaaaaaah! *dances* It was The Clarks, it was good music with good friends (Katie, Mo, Jean), it was good weather, it was the Chevrolet Amphitheater being nothing like we envisioned it, it was 2 unheard of, but not bad, opening acts (Jackopiere and Graham Colton), it was drunk college guys hitting on me and my friends then moving onto late 40s women when we wouldn't dance with them, it was the same drunk college guys peeing (oh excuse me, pissing) on the floor and on Katie and Jean's ankles, it was a great tank top and layering all my clothes, it was a serious lack of hydration enough so that Katie and I drank some random persons water who didn't have herpes (what about mono? ack!), it was walking around Pittsburgh afterwards with Katie, my mom and Becca's mom, it was going to buy a shirt from some restaurant only to have it close right as we got to the door, it was leaving Becca's mom stranded in a high rise parking garage, it was trying to go to the bathroom in a convenience store but being rudely told we couldn't by an extremely rude and angry man, it was talking to Emily, Rachel, and Becca after their concert on a cell phone on the way home, it was priceless. And sadly, it wasn't nearly as long as this sentence. *tear, tear*

June 29, 30 - nothing worthwhile..

July 1 - home meet vs Park after team pics. We won. Nothing out of the ordinary. Then MSC, Meadowink, and some other friends all went to Mo's for a fire and chilling. Not a bad evening at all I'd say.

July 2-6 - Deep Creek with the Martins! Woo hoo! *does Deep Creek dance* Man, I'll just give highlights cuz it was all so much fun that it would all be a big mess if I tried to break it down into specific days. Mrs Martin, Katie, Jen, and I went down the 2 and once we got to DC, we went to Super Wal-Mart and got Axe! Yummy :D We also went to the Farmer's Market. Got about as much candy as veggie type stuff. Well, more candy probably. Cuz I doubt we got, um, 4 pounds of veggies. Right. Moooooving on. We didn't do much that day, I believe. Mr Martin and Ashley came down the next day, but Ashley had to leave the 4 cuz she had to work. I learned how to scooter! Oh yeah, I'm a hot pre teen now! haha! But we chilled on the dock a lot. Played countless games of Palace and Golf. Talked some, but not about serious subjects most of the time. Silly stuff. Swam some. Ate. A lot. Probably a lot more than you're thinking, ha. Saw some crazy parties at the Watson's. Saw the aftermath of crazy parties at the Watson's. Sat in the lake on the bumpity and occasionally the fishing boat. Bumpitied! Went to the Honi Honi Bar and saw a grossss old woman dancing in a tankini and "getting freaky" with every guy possible. Showered together. Played Monopoly. Watched lots of movies includin Final Destination where I was then too afraid to pee by myself, ha! Watched fireworks from a highway in the rain. Vistied the Watsons before the start of another crazy party. And left. Slept a lot. Went canoeing, and oh, the canoeing! Katie and I rock at canoeing. We would dominate in the canoeing Olympics. It excites me just to talk about it! We canoed a lot and became rather good at it too! Sadly though, despite our immense skill, the wind pushed us far down the lake. Which of course was a disaster so we decided to throw our shoes out of the boat and then panic and try to rescue them in as little time as possible because hey, they could be swept away like we had been at any moment! And then where would we be! Shoeless and in the middle of a lake, that's where! So after this game we wanted to go in between like a million anchored sailboats. So we got super close and decided it probably wasn't the best of plans so as we went to go away a boat came up to us, not the first let me tell you, asking if we needed help or a tow back in. We said no and they said if we were still there in an hour they'd come back for us. We laughed and agreed and paddled away farther to the other side of the lake. Kept meeting people and saw a little kid learning how to water ski. Finally an hour or so later we realized, hey we're not getting anywhere paddling. It's time for a change of plan. So we jumped ship and decided to swim with our canoe. Yes, that's right. Swim with our canoe. So that's just what we did. And of course, more boats flocked to us seeing two poor distressed girls in bikinis attempting to swim with a canoe. But we turned them all away. Even the stupid Jetskiers asking if we wanted to step on their Jetski to get back in. After quite some time, we began to feel bad for all the boats coming up to us. And seeing that our seemingly brilliant plan was shit we got back in the boat. Our plan was this, my dear friends: one person swims in front and pulls the canoe and uses their arms. The second person pushes the canoe from behind and kicks. Well when it came time to switch is where our plan was ruined. Instead of switching positions and leaving the canoe where it was, we would swing the front end of the canoe around so that it was then the back end. So everytime we would switch, we lost basically all the distance we just moved. Not the brightest crayons in the box at times. So we got back in and paddled around some. Including our fabulous art of standing and paddling. This took some skills, children. We even began singing and pretending we were gondola drivers. Once I became so motivated I even began to dance, quite stylishly of course. It was good for a little bit. Until I fell over and almost caused the canoe to CAPSIZE!! But it didn't because Katie saved it with her quick thinking skills. So we were paddling and singing and being the hot girls we are when the same boat that offered us a tow before came back. Sure they were an hour later than they had said, but we agreed to a tow. There were 4 guys and 1 girl, probably a sister we figured. They were 18 or so I believe and very friendly. They even jumped in and saved our stuff when our canoe flipped on the way home. Back to the cottage with all the smoke. It was burning down. They guy believed us at first, ha. We had made up an elaborate plan about how we should say, "Well, we started canoeing when we saw the smoke and realized our cottage was burning down. So we ran to the canoe and got as far away as we could. Before we realized it was just our lunch being made." But instead we opted to kindly explain that it was the neighbors burning leaves, as was the true, yet utterly boring, story. So they kindly dropped us off at the dock where Mr Martin and Jen were swimming. All the lake was talking about the 2 crazy canoers that day, we liked to think :) So the next day, our last day, we couldn't leave our public in waiting. Went out early with Jen and she had a horrible time as we tried to make it so she wouldn't want to come again. Dropped her off and canoed some more. Met 2 really nice guys our age: Greg and William. They were bumpitying and purposely were like, circling us, before they jumped off and swam over to come and talk to us. They had a cottage down the lake a little and were also staying together. But they were leaving sometime soon anyway like we were too. So it was a tradgedy when we had to part. But no fear, we had more interesting friends! Like the 2 drunk hicks..they really weren't drunk or hicks..but they were really rude! They came over to us and asked how old we were. We answered 16 and they were like, "Oh..we thought you guys looked like moms.." Ladies and gentlemen, that I must say is the absolute best pick up line I have ever heard! Man, I wanted to do them right that instant. But sadly, we gave them the cold shoulder and eventually they were like, "Yeah, nice meeting you" and left. Damn losers! But we had a fair share of other cool people anyway. Took Jen out a little later on the canoe with us because we felt bad and we think she had a better time the second time. We packed and such and left later that day. Listened to some good ol' Jimmy Buffett on the way home and rocked out despite the hail storm and weather difficulties. Got home and was once again, quite depressed. Although it was slightly relieving to finally be able to be home for longer than a few days.

But I suppose that is all for now. Short and sweet, the way I should do updates. *scoffs* Yeah, right. Like this and any of my future updates will be short. *rolls eyes* Who do you think I am, after all?

I got a reputation to live up to here!!
*giggles*
