Okay Joel, I will write about what I want out of life...well, a little piece of what I want out of life lol.
I want to have a taste of what life is like for other people. Everyone from around the world wakes up to a completely different type of life. Different cultures, histories, and lifestyles. People view the world differently depending on their place in it. It is impossible to know what it is like to grow up in rural China or in a bustling city in India. I want to travel all over though, so that I can at least get a glimpse of it. Otherwise, reading books about different types of lives is the closest you can get. To me, to live life to the fullest, you need to understand what it is like to walk in many other people's shoes. There is no other way to get to know this world.
I only wish I could go through time. I want to feel what it would have been like to live in ancient Greece or medieval London. Or even know what life will be like in the future. Unfortunately, books really are all that we have.
