New York City is terrific!! You can see Times Square from our room - which is awesome! We landed and had to wait 2 hours for our luggage which sucked! But it was all good once we reached NYC.

We have eaten extremely wonderful food today! We ate at an italian place for lunch which was freakin awesome and then we ate at a place in "Amsterdam" for dinner which was also awesome! I have drank a lot of wine today - yum! Being here on St. Patty's day is really cool :) It did get a bit stressful when my mom suddenly decided to leave - and I mean suddenly - from the place we were at in Amsterdam. I got up and danced with the other two girls for 2 songs and went back to keep my Mom company at our table. She got up and said she was leaving and I was like uhhhh... but the other two don't know we are leaving!! My Mom took off and I had to quickly tell one of the other girls we were leaving! I went out and found my mom hailing a cab on the corner *rolls eyes* -she was quite drunk. She decided she wanted to show me the "real" New York instead of the touristy stuff I had seen at Times Square. So she paid the cab driver to drive us all over the places she wanted to see that she remembered. It turned out being really cool even though it started out stressful. I saw some really cool places - a really cool mix of different places. My Mom is really kinda sad and weirded out because she hasn't been to New York since she came to spend the summers with Uncle Bill. He passed away and it was strange for here to be back and be here without him.

I can't wait to see more tomorrow. We are supposed to start off at the spa (I am getting a manicure on the firm - sweet!) and then go see the Statue of Liberty and Central Park. I also want to go to Serendipity, which isn't too far from our hotel.

The best part of this trip - I haven't paid for a single thing yet! Also, we are staying in NYC tomorrow night instead of New Jersey as originally planned. Pam suddenly decided she wanted to stay here another night. Being a partner in the firm and all, she made it happen. Again - SWEET! :)

And Amanda - I will definitely do something for ya while I am here :)
