Random goings-on
I am so excited! The Masters program that I am planning on starting in Spring (Master of Arts in Reading to become a Reading Specialist) just started a program to have the whole Masters available through Eastern, but with the classes located at Monroe County Community College! Every class will be available there at some point or another. So, I won't have to drive to Eastern :) It begins in the Spring..how perfect is that considering that's when I planned on starting?!
On a different note - Yay for going to see John Mayer tonight with Jill :)
At least some things are going well - work is absolutely crazy right now. The next two weeks are going to continue to be absolutely crazy as I push to finish all of the set-up, etc to get the new software program running smoothly (the final conversion to it is on my Birthday...which means my Birthday is going to be a stressful day!!) and there will for sure be issues/kinks that come up in the next week after that as we actually begin using the program for real for the first time. Plus not many people have been practicing in the system as they were supposed to, so a lot of people probably will not remember how to do things. I am the go-to troubleshooter for the program so I am going to have everyone in my office asking for help....which wouldn't be a big deal if I didn't have actual other legal work to do for my clients :P We have to double do all of our work in the new system and the old, so that itself will also take a lot of time! I have to constantly ask myself how I got here. How did I end up doing this job?? How completely random.
