In other news.... Dino Nuggets? *looks at Rhynn's painfully expensive Gerber microwave meals* What are Dino Nuggets? Who makes them? Are they good? Must go shopping!
The ones we have are from Foster's Farms, they were in the frozen meats section at the grocery store. (Along with burger patties, hot wings, etc). They're all white meat, w/ wholegrain flour breading. And shaped like dinosaurs, raaah!! Fish sticks seem to be another good option. We just got a toaster oven, so cooking something up for him is super-easy now.
I've NEVER bothered with most of that Gerber graduate stuff. It's all so full of preservatives and sodium, and BLAND! Yee-uck. I've always felt it's better to just eat healthy as a family, and give them some of what you're having. Alex's favorite meal so far is Turkey Meatloaf with smashed potatoes and organic peas! Yummy!
I agree, the Gerber Graduates are overpriced and Jamie never liked them at all. I get Tyson's fun nuggets and Jamie adores most of the Morningstar Farms line of nuggets and is a veggie burger freak (although they aren't exactly cheap, but worth it). He used to like veggie dogs, but once his Nana gave him a taste of a real Hebrew National Kosher hot dog, there was no going back.
