Never Let Me Go is now out in paperback, and I would buy it if you haven't read it already. It is rare that you read a book and know instantly that it will be a classic. The same can be said of Remains the Day. Kazuo Ishiguro has an unusual talent. I remember reading Remains of the Day and thinking how it must have been written a long time ago, because it was just so well done and captured the time period so perfectly.
