i've stumbled into this
book a couple of days ago. i've already finished it and i really need to buy the sequel.
in the meantime i've spent all my morning reading
this.
i don't know how this thing for witch and sorcery has stuck in me. the time of fairies and magic is over, but i find i'm still fascinated by witchcraft. not that i really believe in that.
maybe it's the socio-cultural side of the matter that appeals me- all those girls/women were just guilty of being indipendent, self-thinking, with a good knowledge of nature in all its aspects and alternative belief.
i think i'd have been burnt if i were born in 17th century.
