Finally, I have been headhunted for a new job!!!! Yay! It'll give me world of skills that I don't currently have, which'll pump up the old cv a bit. It also gives me supervisory responsibilities and program management skills - which all look nice when applying for jobs. I'm very excited about going, although a bit nervous about trying something new after 5 years.
On the downside, my old section would have sent me off to Melbourne (my first and only travel opportunity in 16 years of being a public servant), but I'm off to a new job and so can't go. Sigh. Still I'm up for a few days next week, so I'll just have to content myself with that.
