Huge Update!

Mar 03, 2004 15:33

Wow it has been over 2 months since I have posted a real update! I guess times flies when you are having fun. My entry will seem kinda thrown around a bit with the info because I keep thinking of other things I want to mention so I just put them down instead of trying to redo what I've done. So if it looks like I'm crazy...You're right. =P

Today: I made myself a fat free cheese omelet to eat for lunch and tried to stabilize the hybrid network in my house. The router is messed up so I am conversing with my mother about some upgrading and replacing. After checking my financials and made sure I had all the paperwork I needed, I went up to Sunnyside to get the title memorandum so I could go to the BMV and get the new license plates. I will talk about Rachel's new car later in this entry. Well I should give a brief summary of recent events.

Recently:
I've been very busy with Rachel (my favoritest [Yes it is a word per me] person in the world!), school, and work. We spend a lot of time with each other. Rachel and I are doing great! I love waking up next to her in the morning and looking at her cute face and how she is snuggled against me. I love her so much. She is so wonderful and beautiful. The best thing to ever happen to me in my life. As of March 1st we have been together for 7 months. I can hardly believe it because it doesn't seem like that long, but it also seems like it has been longer. If that makes any sort of sense. lol. We have been on our low fat diet and doing really great on it. Rachel tells me she is losing a few pounds every week, and I have lost about 16lbs in just over a month. We are feeling healthier too. We just need to get some time to start our Tae-Bo. lol. Her birthday is coming up on March 11th and I have the biggest, best, complicated birthday plan/surprise ever for her. It is really taking energy out of me, because it is taking a lot of work to pull it off.
I have been trying to finish building Phoenix (the new 3.0ghz 1gbRAM super computer) since Christmas time. It is almost complete. I have the main system guts in there and the water cooling system installed and flowing correctly. Just have to do some more running of cables/wires, install some more pretty colorful lights and then do the first boot up and install all the software.
Well let’s see. I guess I should break it down by mentioning all the holidays/major events.

*My 21st birthday*
No big parties or anything. Just a nice dinner with my parents and Rachel. I don't remember what I did in the earlier part of the day....I know I didn't work. lol Well I went to go get Rachel so we could go with my parents to Joe's Crab Shack for my dinner. When I got to Rachel's house she gave me my presents. They were soo cool! She got me the shirt I liked that was dark green and said "They say I have A.D.D., but they just don't understand...Oh look! A chicken!" It is so cool! She also got me the Finding Nemo DVD which is awesome. I like that movie a lot. She also got me a card and some spongebob stickers. We then went to Joe's to eat where I was put on the spot at the end of our dinner and had to do my "morning dance" that I was told I did this morning, but I certainly don't recall it. lol Yeah so I did it wearing a purple wig, reindeer antlers and pom poms. There are pictures of this and pictures of Rachel, and me and Rachel. She looks so cute and pretty in them.

*Working?*
My mind is having trouble remembering this day. I know that I had worked since that would be a big day for shopping. I'm not sure if I saw Rachel or not though. I want to say that she was at her dad's side of the family. I think she was and then I saw her later that night. Well I'll ask her and update this portion.

*Best Christmas ever!*
Yep! It started off with me waking up early to go get my Grandma James from Akron and bring her out here to spend Christmas day with my family. After opening our presents I had to leave and go to Rachel's house so I could go with her family down to Grandma's house! (her mom's side) Grandma's house is fun! Rachel and I exchanged Christmas gifts first at her house. She got me a lot of things, and I got her a lot of things. She loved her presents. She got me cool gifts too. Here is what I got:

Air Zooka- I had no idea she was getting me this and forgot about them at Spencer's. It is pretty fun to play with.

A stuffed Zebra- His name is Zack. I love this gift and love to hug while I sleep with it every night.

A dolphin candle lamp- I have always seen these before and liked them, but never thought I would have a place for it. I use it lots and have it on my nightstand. Perfect place.

A dolphin rotating light lamp thingie- Not exactly sure of the real name, but I love it.

A bottle of cologne- It's from Pacific Sunwear. I like it and use it lots.

A bottle of Adidas cologne- Didn't ask for this, but I really like it. Rachel is good at picking this stuff out for me. Wonder if she is trying to tell me something though. lol

A Candle making kit- Woohoo now I can make some candles. Comes with pretty sand, and wax candles. It's cool.

a Lego set- I love this girl! I was like woohoo Legos! It is an inventor set. It is really neat!

I got her lots of things too, including a Yamaha keyboard, stuffed animals, Legos (lol), gum, cards, and an aquarium. I made her a blanket and gave it to her later though because the material didn't come in the mail till after Christmas. Her parents got me a stocking with some little goodies and candies inside. We went down to Grandma's house where I got to meet her aunt Linda who apparently had a gift for me even though this woman has never met me before. Apparently Grandma was saying some good things about me from the last time we went there. We had a nice lunch/dinner and had the big family gift exchange. I got a gift from Grandma too. That was cool. I loved spending every minute there with Rachel. It meant a lot to me spending Christmas with her.

*The end of the Accord Legacy*
I was working 5-10pm that night. Ryan, Keith (2 of my managers) and I wanted some food so I drove down to Wendy's to get us some food. It is literally only a couple minutes away. On the way back to work at the intersection of Cleveland-Massillon and Rt18 a lady pulls out in front of me in a GMC Envoy (aka big ass steel mountain that no move) from the Citgo station trying to cut across and blocking the first and second lane leaving only the third open. I was in the first lane...=( I tried to lessen the damage and injuries by swerving right striking her at about a 45 degree angle. 35mph to 0mph in 0ft 0inches. Airbags deployed and the car was filled with dust (at the time I thought it was smoke) from the air bags. My left arm was slightly injured with a little burn mark from the abrasion with the airbag. It wasn't my fault though and me and the lady and her little daughter were ok. She was at fault though. From there it was a long battle of talking to the Toth dealership owner and his insurance since this lady was driving a vehicle from his lot as a loaner without her own insurance. After fighting with him and his insurance I finally got my loaner rental car. It was a 2004 Mercury Sable. Not a bad car at all. It wasn't great on gas mileage though. It was unclear if they were going to total Rachel's car or not. It took nearly 2 months before I finally got word that they were totaling it and received the money. It was sad to see it go. I've been driving that thing for just over 3 years. Details on Rachel's new car later in this entry.

*New Year's Eve*
Once again I had to work another stupid holiday sale thing. Blah! I got off and went to go pick up Rachel so we could go over to Matt and Mary's to spend New Year's Eve. Rachel and I stopped off at Giant Eagle to get food and fake bubblies. I think we went twice too cause I remember Mary and Matt being there now. It wouldn't surprise me since we have done things like that before. After playing lots of games including Twister Moves! Woohoo! lol we began to get ready for the countdown. Matt was busy getting drunk of fake bubblies...did I mention that it was non alcoholic? lol We were ready for the count down with our fake bubblies in hand and those firecracker bottle poppers that explode and cause streamers and confetti to go everywhere. The clock struck 12am and the ball was dropped, we drank our bubblies, deployed our poppers and I gave Rachel a big kiss! It was a fun night. We ended up staying for a couple more hours and then I took Rachel home.

*New Day, New Year*
I don't remember what happened much on this day. I believe Rachel was doing things with her family and I didn't work. I wanted to see her though. I missed her.

*Half a year...or 6 months*
It wasn't till sometime in the middle of January did Rachel and I figure out when our actually anniversary was. Too bad we didn't figure it out before cause then we could have celebrated new years and our anniversary at midnight. Anyways today marked our 6th month together. Wow 6 months. As much as in love as we are with each other and as much as we do together it seems soo much longer than 6 months. Yet it also seems like it went by quickly. lol I went to her house to give her the "Kiss me" frog that I got her and take her out to dinner. I was greeted at the door by my beautiful sweetie, Rachie with flowers in her hand for me. They were so pretty and smelled good. I loved them very much. I love her so much. We went to Ryan's and ate, then we went to get ice cream at Rittman, and finally I took her back to her dorm at KSU. I am so lucky and happy to have her in my life!

*Groundhog Day!*
Ah yes a very important holiday in the 12 months calendar. The day where somebody rips a poor little sleeping groundhog from his home into the bright sun to see if the groundhog sees its shadow to determine how much more winter we must endure. That has to been the strangest tradition in this country. Who in the hell came up with that idea? Poor groundhog. He's just sleeping for months and then is rudely awakened by someone just for his shadow. Why couldn't we just use our own damn shadow? I went over to KSU to see my Rachel on this day. I'm trying to remember where we ate. I know we went out for dinner. Cause we considered it one of our "fat days". I have to explain "fat days", Rachel said that is better if you have one day in the week where you eat fatty foods. It helps balance things. It's working though. Anyways I know I will remember soon and then I will update the entry.

*My bloody Valentine*
Hehe I like that song. Valentine's day was incredible! She told me that I was her first Valentine. That made me feel special, because she is mine too. I got Rachel a heart balloon that had a real rose inside of it. I had to travel 30 minutes to get it though. I also got her one of those balloons that are big and have things in them like stuffed animals and stuff. I always thought those things were cool and amazing. We ate at Fiesta Cantina (our favorite Mexican restaurant) and had ice cream. We went to go see that 50 First Dates at the Regal 12 in Montrose. It was a really funny movie. Then we went back to wadsworth and got some fruit from giant eagle and went back to my house to watch fairly oddparents on DVD. We had an incredible night together. =) I love her so much.

*Going away party*
Today is our 7th month anniversary. We really didn't celebrate it too much since Rachel and I decided that we would only celebrate and give gifts/presents every 6 month interval. We did go to her friend, Crystal's going away party at the Golden Corral. Rachel finally got to exchange Christmas gifts with Crystal. I know Rachel is going to miss her and I need to be there to support her. At the end of the dinner I took her back to KSU. I love my Rachel so much!

Earlier in February Rachel and I bought a new car. It is a dark green Honda accord lx V6. So it is pretty and more powerful, more new, and Rachel's. We went up to Sunnyside up in Middleburg Heights. The salesman, Ben, was really nice, but I knew he had a thing for Rachel cause the whole time we were sitting down talking to him he kept talking to her and looking at her. If I asked a question he would turn his head to look at me to listen. Then look at her and answer the question. I thought about grabbing his chin and pulling his head to look at me. Although I think that is why we were able to haggle the price of the car down so much cause of Rachel being sexy and cute just sitting there. We wonder though how much could we have gotten taken off? I didn't want Rachel to flirt with him though to find out. lol My Rachel! Mine mine mine.

Well my eyes are tired from sitting here for so long, and my fingers can't type very well right now. I'm going to eat dinner now and work some more on my computer. Rachel is cutesies! =)
