(no subject)
Oh man, I just had the most fun since...well...for a long time. And the great thing is that it actually had to do with Spanish, which I've been sadly neglecting so I could do what I HAD to do. But this was amazing.
I went to Los Mariachis with Abby and was excited cause, you know, I hadn't had Mexican food for a while and the guy there is soo nice. Well, he wasn't there, which temporarally (spelled that wrong) depressed me, but then these two other guys were there in his place. Abby and I got our food, struggling through this guy's really fast mexican accent (he slowed it down so we could get it), and then after we started eating and when I was done the two of them came and sat in the booth next to us and talked to us in Spanish for more than a half an hour. It was amazing. And so much fun. Definitely the most I've talked with a native ever. Cause, well, I could count Gabby, but we usually get off topic and switch to English. I felt bad for Abby cause she was sitting farthest away and could barely here (cause they gave us control of the YV and we switched it to a music station and had it loud). It was sooo much fun. But then people showed up and the two of them went "se abcabó" but then we got the older one's email address so he can practice English when he goes back to Mexico in December, and....this is THE best part...he made us the coolest flowers ever out of two napkins. they really look like roses. for those of you that go to school with me, Abby and I are bringing them in tomorrow. I don't know...that made my week. And I just told Hanna that. So yeah...I could rant more, but I'm sure you don't care....I'm just really really happy right now. LOVE YOU!
