I am unable to concede to nihilism, to an arbitrary world wherein chaos is the moral order of the universe. Are we abandonded to absurdity? To create meaning rather than to find it?
I have seen the fabricated "meaning" that mortals have arbitrated and imposed on all life, on all lives, and truly, nothing is more absurd. The world is unfair. The Blessed are slighted and then they fall. The Lost and the Wayward are given what the Wise and Loving are denied.
But in the end, I have You, and You will make all things fair and beautiful again in the End.
I see glimpses of the Truth, of a world filled with Light. Those glimpses are both a blessing and a curse: a curse insofar as they demonstrate a possibility against which I become aware of the error and shortcomming of things as they are; a blessing insofar as I know that Goodness exists and prevails somewhere in the cosmos, and that maybe one day It will visit us too.
