PH Adrasteia Hatshepsut in PiRamesses (PG-13) - A lost Game, Stolen Goods, and a Missing Lady (3/3)

The guard upon the wharf called out, racing courageously up the boarding ramp, only to be answered by swift arrows piercing his chest. There was a brief splash as he fell into the sea.

Without fail, the wiry Mycenean who had moved to Adrasteias right now sprang in front of her, blocking her escape rout to the boarding ramp. He grasped her arm with his left hand, a dagger prime in his right. Effortlessly she twisted her arm free and swatted his weapon bearing hand sharply, sending his dagger scuttling down the deck. Just as fiercely and now squared into a boxing stance, she struck his face swiftly, causing him to stumble backward. Quickly, she spun around to make another attempt at escape, but nearly ran into the enormous first mate instead. Without hesitation she punched the giant as hard as she could firmly in his nose.

The colossal roared in anger as he gave Adrasteia a devastating return blow to the side of her face, sending her sprawling to the floor. Face first she fell, unable to even catch herself from the fall. For a moment, it was if she could see nor hear anything around her, like the whole experience wasn't real-she could even hear her own cry, almost as if from a distance. Adrasteia had never been hit so hard in all her life, she could hardly believe it. Slowly she opened her eyes, holding back tears of pain; rage filled her mind despite her heads slight ringing. She attempted to lift herself up, her palms stung as she pressed the deck, and the battered woman could taste blood in her mouth. Before she could even rise to her knees, two Myceneans grappled her by her arms and dragged her to her feet.

Adrasteia struggled in her captors clutches, but their grip held strong, "Release me!!!" her voice was hoarse, somewhere lost in between a cry and a growl.

The giant howled with laughter, finding what ever she had said, which he couldn't have understood, quite funny. "Why after your lovely look inside our treasure filled barrels, you don't really think you'd make it off this boat." He leaned even closer to her, his malicing grin ear to ear and his nose bleeding from Adrasteias antics.

Her eyes filled with hatred, she twisted sharply trying to break free, "You will pay… This I promise you." She didn't even give the courtesy to speak in his language, instead she spat in his face.

He stood tall as he began to laugh again. Suddenly he stopped and his hand shot out to her neck, "I could crush your sweet little royal neck if I so choose," his voice menacing as he squeezed a bit.

"Enough," sneered the captain.

The first mate released his grip as the captain approached. Adrasteia coughed a little, her eyes now focused on the captain. "What should we do with her?" he asked, wiping the mess from his face and smearing it onto their captives robes.

The captain thought for a moment, "This wench is not only in the royal house, but the one only daughter of the Minoan King," he said, looking at her coldly. "They call her the Queen-Daughter, I bet Minos would pay dearly to have his beloved jewel returned to him." He took a lock of her black hair and smelled it for a moment. "She need not be harmed any further, she'll do us no good as a corpse for ransom. Bind her hands and take her below."

Binding her hands were quite a task, and as the first mate led her down the steps he made up for it by shoving her half way down, causing her to tumble down the last three steps. He laughed wickedly as she cautiously scrambled to her feet, her hands twisting in front of her, trying to free herself of the ropes.

"Try all you like," he chuckled, "You're not going anywhere….."
