Weekend

So I had a great weekend all in all.
Friday I put the first part of a deposit down on my new apartment and was able to line up a fridge. Got home dilly dally'd around. I got to talk to Julie. That was nice. Ordered the rest of Liam's birthday gift and my final battle Faith. (They all shipped today.) Alok got into the airport at 10:30. The drive to the parking garage was interesting in a Chinese Curse sort of way. We got back into Long Beach caught up and I crashed into bed just after midnight.
Saturday we woke up at 8. I filled out the move out paperwork for the apartment and got the last of my birthday gift's from mom. I have a nice, new, yellow, fiestaware utensil crock(?). I love it. So around 10, Alok and I went to the post office so I could mail out a bunch of things there weren't any lines. It was shocking. Then we walked around Borders (where I discovered soy chai lattes), Target and went to Amazing, where they had Final Battle Faith, grr. (I want to get the Anyanka action figure also.) Found the first copy of Fable and finished it off that day. I was able to take Alok to Little India which he enjoyed. We found a vegetarian restaurant that specialized in Southern Indian food, so that was a nice experience.
After Little India it was off to Burbank to see Nina. I know have elf ears which she is going to help me color to my skin tone. It's great having a makeup artist as a friend. It's always great to see her as well. Halloween is makeup stores Christmas it's crazy. Took Alok to Hollywood next. We went to Ameoba records and another Borders before heading to the Arclight. I understand why everyone I know in the area loves the Arclight. It's great. We saw Serenity (I did my part bought 3 tickets); the theater was between half and 3/4 full. The movie keeps getting better. I want to see it again. 5 times would not be excessive. We ate a snack at the Arclights restaurant, yummy brownie and a perfect Arnold Palmer. After the movie I got two great magnets for the (new) fridge and one for Alok to remember the trip. We ate dinner at Palms. It was great as always (Erin Thai Elvis was there. He was amazing.) Then back to Long Beach and Witch Hunter Robin DVD.
Sunday Alok had to be at the airport by 8 and I started to pack for the move. I napped, talked to Mom, Missy, Alok, and Sean.
