I have a funny white bump thing in my mouth, sorta below my tooth, under the skin (skin?). It's gotten like 3x bigger and more swollen and painful, and I'm upset. I want a lollypop.
Seeing the Dalai Lama tomorrow. My dad saw him today, in person, walking into a Buddhist temple near our house. My mom's friend told me an interesting story tonight; her mother, who worked at the airport escorting VIPs, was once escorting the Dalai Lama across the airport (to his plane, I guess). She had recently been diagnosed with cancer, and was being treated for it. As she was walking with him, he held her hand, and touched her head when they said goodbye. So, the next day she had a blood test for her white count, and the doctors were so amazed with the results, they thought they had the wrong test. She was fine, and didn't need treatment for a year and a half, when the cancer came back, and she died from it.
Okay, so sad story.
