Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas everyone!
This morning we got up early -me being very sleepy- and opened up presents. I got two books (Fahrenheit 451 and The Darkest Evening of the Year), two Xbox 360 videogames (Gears of War and Halo 3), clothes, a body wash/lotion kit, two DVDs (The Dark Knight and The Happening). The videogames & movies were to both me and Alex :) For Christmas this year, me and Alex gifted ourselves an Xbox 360, Alex was talking about how he wanted one, and I thought it'd be cool too, so we went to the store and bought one, each paying half. For his birthday I gave him Grand Theft Auto IV. Me and Alex gave Mom the newest edition of Scrabble, Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 and Dynasty Warriors 6. I think she really liked her presents :D And you know what was really funny? Alex wrapped Dynasty Warriors and put it in a box, then he wrapped that box and put it in another box. Then wrapped that box. So Mom & Walrus & me were all laughing so much as she opened up the box... to find another and another. Haha. After we were done unwrapping presents, Mom told us that she had planned to go out last night and buy us Rock Band, and wrap and take it to Grandma's, where she was going to surprise us with it, but because she had had such a bad cold she had forgotten. So she said tomorrow she's going to get us Rock Band. Yay =)
Yesterday, Kirk called Alex and asked if he wanted to go out to the bowling alley to pick up their checks and to go to Wal Mart, so Alex said yes, of course. Kirk was going out to buy Kathleen's (Kirk and Janice's daughter) stocking stuffers, so Alex "helped". HAHA can you imagine what happened when Kirk and Alex got together and picked out stocking stuffers?? They goofed around and picked up joke-gifts XD They got her a reindeer toy that poops jellybeans, slippers, a Highschool-musical-singing-toothbrush, a bottle of lotion which exclaims in bold font on the front "FACE CREAM" (which Kirk picked up at the store and said with a funny tone, "Cream... for the FACE.") and because Kathleen had been laid off from her job, they got her -as a joke- a job application to Wal-Mart. XD Oh my gosh, ROFL, Alex was text messaging Kathleen, wishing her a merry christmas, and seeing how she liked her stocking stuffers XD She sent us pictures of the jelly-bean-pooping reindeer.
Andrew and Will were at their dad's house (Joe's), today, so Aunt Kathie came to Grandma's house and we all ate Christmas lunch/dinner together. Mmm Aunt Kathie made green bean casserole, as usual, me and Alex's favourite :) And Grandma made her lime jello dessert, yum. We unwrapped presents...I got pajamas from both Aunt Kathie and Grandma, and each year Grandma always gives everyone money so we thanked her very much. Mom, Alex & me got Aunt Kathie (which includes Andrew & Will) two DVD's, Iron Man, and Journey to the Center of the Earth. is spending the night and she brought her dogs with her, Lucy and Daisy.
OH YEAH and there was a House Marathon on today!! Woo Hoo! We had the tv on that channel all day, in the background, and later in the evening we migrated (hehe) into the livingroom and watched like 3 House episodes back to back. Haha it was awesome. I'm re-reading Eragon, so I had that with me and got in some reading... and me and Aunt Kathie made some poffins together in a pokemon game for the Nintendo DS or as Aunt Kathie calls it: a Gameboy. :D
Earlier in the evening we all went over to our (Mom's, Alex's and my) house and watched Iron Man. I had never seen it before and... OMFG IT WAS AWESOME.
