I'll get Meg to take a picture of it (and the manta) and we can post them up.
Well, it's not so much that we'd have been in the pool as we would have been near it. Meg likes reading outside, as do I. We can both tolerate some sun, and are working on being able to tolerate more. Also, we both like to people watch some, and a pool is a good place for that. Finally, a pool is a great place to be/tan/read, as you can read until you get hot, jump in the water for a bit to cool off, and then go back to reading.
Keep in mind, Ft.L at it's coolest is considered "very hot" to us canuks. I didn't put it in the write up, but on Roatan, the guide and I were talking (while Meg waded in the Atlantic) about differences in weather tolerance. We'd always headed for the shadiest spot, and I told her we often vacationed in what most Caribbean places would consider the 'dead of winter' because I deal with heat so poorly. She said that it was a pretty typical day there, only about 27C (around 80F) and not too bad. I pointed out that in Calgary, 27C would be accompanied with headlines about what a "blistering heat wave" the city was having. ;)

Either way, glad that you and Meg didn't get hit by that runaway car! (and poor family of the pregnant woman who was killed. Eef!)
