This is why I want to go there:
Social Work and Urban and Regional Planning
The School of Social Work and the Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning offer a dual degree enabling students to pursue concurrent work in Social Work and Urban and Regional Planning leading to the MSW and MUP degrees, with an emphasis on community-based planning. The 90-hour program requires six terms over two and one-half to three years.
This program provides knowledge to organize and plan programs, services and resources responsive to social values and human needs at the community level. It develops skills to organize groups for community action, plan programs at the community level, develop community based resources and services, and activate people to participate in the planning decisions that affect their lives.
FANTASTIC!
Plus, my sister is having a baby and she lives in Cleveland, 3 hours southeast of Ann Arbor. AND Jay's family is in Ohio. AND I have cousins in Chicago. AND I want to live with seasons for awhile. AND everything.
