i wasn't going to say anything but....
i normally don't like to gloat but there has been a lot of talk about poker lately and i wanted to share...
on monday i took a vacation day because saturday was my b-day and i wanted some rest and relaxation. i went to sycuan, they have a free no limit hold 'em tourney in the morning and at night. jay and entered into the night tourney as we've done several times in the past. never really amounting to anything.
but man i was lucky or something because i just rocked! maybe 300 people entered and i made it to 7th place and won $125 for a free tourney. i hit trip 4's a gagillion times, and got great starting hands... that somehow when i'd go all in or make a really strong bet someone would call with a better starting hand and i'd always hit what i was looking for and knock them out.
it was my second win in an actual tourney at an actual casino. i was proud. i feel i'm progressing wonderfully
