Entry 60 - Need to expand the Vana'diel horizons. =P

Last night's time spent in Vana'diel was awesome. Only way it could've been better is if it hadn't been interrupted. =P I was invited into what was probably the best non-board party I had ever been in. 2 White Mages (one had a black mage sub I think...), me as a Black Mage, two monks (each with some sub), and a Warrior. No deaths, very smooth kills. The warrior only neared death once and there wasn't much downtime at all. Made it to level 15! YAY! But I REALLY need to get back to Bastok and do some item/money management...=P Not to mention find an Iron Musketeer and get Signet back in effect, so all this tasty exp. goes to Bastok conquest! =D After that, I should really start exploring places. I haven't been to any other major city...and Valkurn is the farthest from "home" I've been (even though I was a happy skip away from La Thiene =P). All in good time, I suppose. =) More levels = broader travels anyway, right?

In other news, I managed to get the new video drivers installed, and so far (well given the fact that playtime was never interrupted or frozen last night...=P) things seem to be okay. The true test will be next time I try to visit Microsoft's site. Which may be never. =P I guess the next step is to re-install Office XP, and whatever other applications I'll be needing. I really should install Painter V.8 and try it out. I want to draw...^______^
