Just had an awesome Saturday night in with my little sister Beth. Mum & dad have gone out somewhere [it's a rareity, although I'm sure they'll be pouring themselves through the front door any minute. The raised, drunken tones will be a giveaway]. But it was fun.
We got a Chinese takeaway, & rented out 50 First Dates. [I desperately wanted Eternal Sunshine for a bit of Elijah lovin' but all of the copies were taken out.] Samwise Gamgee made a suprise appearance as a tanned, lisping jock. Most strange. & after that we watched Lee Evans live at Wembley Arena on sky which was hilarious. We both laughed until we cried. He did a ton of jokes about service stations // truckers // coaches of old people.
Up at nine fortyfive tomorrow, which isn't so bad. I was going to blow some money on a mobile phone today but backed out at the last minute. Instead I think another day of going into Manchester alone as an excuse to get a Subway & Starbucks to do some shopping is in order.
