I am crazy manic on caffeine right now.
For a while, I've meant to compile a list of my favorite albums of all time. Just for my own sake, really. Yet I've found that I am always changing my mind on matters such as this. I seem to keep coming back to these five, however:
1. Hunky Dory, by David Bowie - "Life on Mars?", "Fill Your Heart"
2. Blue, by Joni Mitchell - "The Last Time I Saw Richard", "All I Want"
3. Rufus Wainwright, by Rufus Wainwright - "Damned Ladies", "Foolish Love"
4. Blood on the Tracks, by Bob Dylan - "Shelter From the Storm", "You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go"
5. Louder than Bombs, the Smiths - "Asleep", "Ask"
(I've selected my favorite song from each, just in case you guys out there are looking for some new songs to download or such. Remember that I am quite fickle, and that my favorites might change day by day, so don't quote me on this...you know what I mean. Oh, and if you want to know if you'd like an album, ask me and I'll tell you if it is up your alley or not. Then I could burn it for you and you won't have to spend the money. I'll stop talking now. Okay. Rockin')
P.S. - I just edited and made the song choices into one mellow and then one up tempo-ish, because I realized that I am very bi-polar musically and I need choices goddammit!
I might expand the list to top 10 before the week is over and done with. Just because.
