Okay, it's been several weeks since updating. Sorry.
Let's see, where to begin...
Ah, the play. Well, after school was out, Romeo & Juliet was the top priority in life, as I had to worry about pretty much nothing but that. Every day I'd pick up Brenna, then it was off to Waxahachie for practice from 6:30-8:00. The play opened on the 11th and ended on the 19th; we had the monday of the week of the 19th off. The play was very good. Everyone involved had fun, I got to make several new friends too: Ian the Reformed-Episcopal, Paul the Capulet Patriarch, Liz the crazed, Audry the quietly reserved, Becca the calm, Aaron the small-yet-loud, Justin/Shaun the inseparable couple, Cassie the graceful (save the time she tripped all around backstage), Joe - Romeo - now b/f of Liz, Brian the kisser of Brenna, Heather the artist (and creator of the Dead Fish Theatre [DON'T ASK]), Antony, who dislocated his shoulder three times during the play, and Patrick the ADA of Ellis County and excellent jokester/Friar Laurence. The list goes on, but names are escaping my mind. There was a cast party, but I missed it. More on that later.
I got to see Laurel again, as she had her birthday party Saturday. That was why I missedthe cast party, that and I lost the directions. The party was fun, got to meet some of her friends. Also, last Saturday, I got to hang out with Allie at HAM-COM over at the Arlington convention centre. Basically, it's a convention for radio hobbyists. I thought it was pretty cool; I actually want to get my liscense for radio now. Also got to see Allie that evening at the party. Anyway, at the party we played truth or dare Jenga, swam (I didn't), had some good eats (chicken teriyaki), and assaulted each other with water-balloons.
Moving on, I started my own business today, and so far I've made $60 after an hour and a half of work. It's DVD services, and since I have a truckload of clients lined up, I should be making a good deal of money. And fast.
Also, I've picked up some more music as of late, too. Physical Graffiti by Led Zeppelin, some Who, and a copy of One Trick Pony by Paul Simon.
Also, there's some stuff going on in a dank, dusty sector of my life most would know as the area in which relationships are handled. Hopefully it's for the better, 'cos I do. I'll talk about that some other time though.
In closing, I have more friends than I can count (or remember), I've got to hang out with all my old friends from school, I have fallen ass-backwards into money, and I might have a step-up in relationships soon. Life isn't good, it's amazing!
Well, it's late/early, so I'm gonna hit the hay.
