middle of summer and austin is hot. sweltering.
i got the job at the olive garden. i don't know why i'm so happy about getting it. i think i'm just happy to be working.
steady cash flow (assuming i do well, of course) never hurts.
austin is lonely, now, without robyn.
but it is really good to have gerald here, with me. and we hang out with john and drew, Le Funning it up, or hackeysacking on the Drag, at night, underneath the lights of the Scientology building. or at the pearl street, where john plans to steal the pieces from the Lord of the Rings edition Risk board for personal use.
hot tubbing and drinking with brandon and jamie and, occasionally, joel has also been fun. plentiful babes in thier hot tub, as well as alcohol, as well as good conversation including, but not limited to, most useless super hero powers. The ability to summon a bear, but you can't control him when he shows up. The ability to read people's minds-- but only when they're mildly annoyed. The ability to be 'pretty good' at everything-- neither excellent nor terrible. Captain Equilibrium.
this last discussion spawned the idea, along with some other ideas i've had of late, of a comic book/movie script.
time travel. unlikely heroes. mockumentary. historical fiction.

robyn comes to live with me
for the summer.
i am so happy
i've gotten to see her recently, including
this weekend. i want more stories.
new stories. never ending stories, with her. :)
