All Shook Up

If I had still been in a condo I would have thought it was a washing machine going into shake meltdown mode in another unit, but i was in my old PA house and I knew I was not washing any think. I had moments of harder shakes when jackhammers dug up steat putside this summer to get at water pipes but then there was the sound and it gradually got closer as they made a trouph (sp?) in the street. By the time i realised what it was and picked which doorway to go to, put laptop down, got out of lazyboy and stood up shaking was over. Turned on tv, no news or even ticker, But by time I was getting my slow net connection CBS3 (yes that still seems wrong) had reports. then watched more info slowly appear on the net.

I had to be at work at 4 and if I had gottrn up from dealling with laptops IE issues I could have been in the shower (that would have one upped your job offer phone call) so I did not have time to worry about you. TV in phila was talking mainly about tall buildings shaking (one or two windows with cracks) and no injuries.

It was not until 11 pm news that they showes a daylight shot of a copter doing a check of Washington Monument and followed with newscaster saying cracks were scene that I was worried about anything more than houses (puplic buildings are
