I lie down and sleep;
I wake again, because the Lord sustains me.
I will not fear the tens of thousands
drawn up against me on every side. psalm 3:5-6
I will lie down and sleep in peace,
for you alone, O Lord,
make me dwell in safety. psalm 4:8
i like these ones cuz it reminds us how God is a safety for us. in the end, nothing is stronger then Him, and nothing can harm us when we have Him by our side. we don't have to be afraid of the monsters in our closets anymore.
Help, Lord, for the godly are no more:
the faithful have vanished from among men.
everyone lies to his neighbor;
their flattering lips speak with deception. Psalm 12:1-2
