Boys...
So the twins were at swim team practice today. Wednesdays is the day they have the coach that everyone loves. He is the area's HS coach, and he works the kids really hard and expects alot of them, but the kids also react very well to it.
Well today at the end of practice he was noticing that lots of kids were coughing and looking like they had colds etc. So picture it...this very large man with a booming voice is lecturing the team about how they have to take care of themselves, and how swimmers are especially susceptible to illness because they are walking around with wet heads in the winter etc etc...and he is talking at length about how to take care of themselves, and it is their responsibility to take precautions so they don't find themselves sick on the day of the big meet....etc etc
Now look down if you will to the lane that my son is in full of boys age 9-12 years old. Who are spitting pool water at each other...and my son opens his mouth to talk...and the stream of water from on boys mouth lands square into my son's mouth.
Ummm yeah...I hate to break it to Coach Peter, but washing hands and wearing hats are probably not the only things these kids need to worry about when they are looking to stay healthy.
