(no subject)
well.. it seems when I ned paper and a pencil, or anything >< it's not near.. so yeah..
I went out with my mom today to the middle school where she is an instructional aide. Usually I help in the library but today I decided to help with the store in teh classroom. We got there as lunch was beginning, because we were late >< darn buses ><
but he tells the kids, that later in life, when they get jobs in like fast food and stuff, that the skills tehy're learning now will help them later in life... he belittles them! as if they won't do more than demeaning little jobs when they have the potential to do so much more! he treats them as if they are extremely, severely, handicapped, and like they can't do a single thing to help it! He has no respect for these kids and right now he is the biggest iimpact on their lives! what an ass!
and he favours students too... if they do something wrong in class, they get fines, which means money taken away from tehm pretty much.. well with one student, today's, he didn't do it.. here'es what happened:
Tim had no money in his lunch account, and the lunch lady was kind enough to let him get lunch today and pay for it later because he said he had no money.. then after that, the aide who later yelled at him saw hi with a personal pizza and she asked where he got it.. he told her that he gave another student 5 dollars to get one for him, and his friend... so she got on his case because it was like stealing from teh school if he didn't pay it back, plus he lied, so I understand why she got upset at him...
but anyways, the teacher took away teh fine he had.. this kid has stolen from other students, and the teacher doesn't care.. he won't tell teh parents and he won't take care of the situation.. I guess the kid's parents have money and he usually gets what he wants at home anyways.. but argh! if the stupid teacher would just teach and be an adult and take care of these kids and teach them what he should be doing, then they would be so much better off!
none of the aides can say anything though out of fear of losing their jobs... so nothing can be done, so what I'm going to do is write an anonymous letter to the VP and see if she can do something about it.. that way it was not from an aide, it was froma concerned well.. not family member.. o.O but yeah... because what's best for these kids is what's important damn it!
it jsut pisses me off that this teacher is so ...a rgh... that he won't do what's best for his stuydents! that's what a teacher does! a good teacher at least, and this one is a lousy one!
I've always said.. if one thing could be changed about this world, screw world peace, I'd rather all mentally handicapped people could live normal lives.. that those problems didn't exist >< I sat at the busstop in teh rain crying because I usually do when it comes to stuff like this.. these kids need help adn instead, they are being treated as inferior creatures who need onl;y learn to write their names and then be sent off... it's not fair! and I know I get attached, and that when it comes to people in general, I get sympathetic.. but still... if it's what's best for these kids, then it should be done >< am I wrong..? if so.. let me know before I tell the VP and open some people's eyes to what's going on..
