los angeles, i'm yours
so things have been pretty good lately.
chopped off the hair. love it. the weird thing is i feel girlier now that i have really short hair. and i finally came to terms with my lucky jeans and i feel happy (as opposed to guilty) wearing them. :)
spent 3 days in L.A. it was the greatest time of my life. i had forgotten how much i miss danny. saw the place, saw old friends, hung out. watched the entirety of BBC's "the office" while i was there (and then bought it because it's the greatest television ever created.)
so the friday i was there danny and i went to see ben lee in concert. and while we're dropping off tickets for greg at the will call box...of all the celebrities i could see in this town...who walks into the concert? mandy moore. the irony was too much.
saturday we went to a movie ("crash"...it was good. i didn't find it as amazing as most though)...and while we're standing in the lobby of the archlight we watch ben stiller and christine taylor walk in and go to a movie. not a minute later vince vaughn walks in with somebody. it was kinda cool :) we were the fools just staring at them.
everything about the place was amazing. (minus the traffic). i can't wait to live there. we spent most of our time in silverlake (where danny lives.) i love it. i miss it. i want to be there now. :)
before i left for L.A i moved into my new place. i think that's had a big effect on my disposition lately. i'm just happier here. i actually have a roommate (and not just people i live with)...and the place is adorable and comfortable and great. i just feel better here. come visit :)
i also ended up with an extra scholarship for summer. since i'm graduating a semester early i asked to have my fsu scholarship waived to my summer semester (since bright futures doesn't pay for summer) and it happened. i'm so happy. now i have money to pay for my thesis :) and i might even have some to save...i want to fly somewhere. maybe back to L.A. :)
