This is so silly. I can't believe these journals can be used to communicate like this! Would they seriously see anything I just randomly happened to scribble down in here? ...Oh well. Here goes. Wonder how formal I should be in a situation like this...

Hello there, all residents of Luceti! My name is Elise Lewin, and I am what you may call a New Feather- I arrived here near the beginning of this month, and despite a lingering disbelief that I really cannot return to my home just yet, I have been trying to settle in. Nice to meet all of you!
While the guide to Luceti is very well written and informative, I feel that there are some personal things that a guide of that nature cannot include. Therefore, I would like to ask a few short questions, if it isn't too imposing!
My first question is, what do all of you like to do for fun? Surely some of you must have carried over games or traditions from your homeland, much like an energetic boy I met who apparently throws a lot of parties. I would love to know what else there is around here to do to pass the time! Of course, I will be willing to share my suggestions too, when the time comes.
Second, are there any potions or medicines native to Luceti? I am assuming that since we're all from other worlds, none of us have any of the remedies from our homelands except for what we had on our person... and it's probably also safe to assume that none of you have heard of multi-colored liquid medicines called Serums. I have no idea if these will be useful or not, but I do have a few that I had been carrying on me anyway! I'll have to make them last.
