I got on my laptop today and everything seemed to be going ok at first. Then I noticed it was running slow, and then it got really slooooooooooow..... So I closed all programs and ran my Spyware and my Anti-virus program. Spyware found a threat it identified as a hijacker. The details said it could take control of my web browser and direct me to web pages I didn't want to go to. The Anti-virus program found a trojan-(whatever it is it aint good!) So anyway I corrected those problems, re-booted my laptop, then ran Anti-virus one more time just to be sure I was clean. I am. Now the laptop is responding the way it's supposed to. I have been doing more browsing in the past few days than I normally do, and I guess that's the result. It took about an hour and a half to get it all taken care of but now I'm back on track. YAY!
On another note, I'm trying to work up the nerve to clean the aquarium that sits by my bed-or should I say help clean it as my poor hubby has to carry the buckets of water back and forth. Even though he does the heavy work it still exhausts me and leaves me in poor shape when I'm done. This goldfish started out as a gift from my son and his girlfriend. It was about an inch in length and they thought it would be perfect in a little bowl beside the bed. Then it started to grow-and grow-and grow! First we bought a little 5 gallon aquarium because it out grew the bowl. Then the darned thing out grew the 5 gallon aquarium! So we got a 10 gallon aquarium for it. That goldfish is now 8 inches long and I think it's still growing! Turns out it's some sort of goldfish/koi hybrid. It's so big now that it really doesn't have alot of swimming room in the 10 gallon tank, but we don't have room for a bigger one, nor could we afford to buy one. Who would have guessed when we were looking at the little 1 inch long thing that we'd end up with this monster? Oh well, maybe tomorrow.
