The mock trial trip was AWESOME!!!
I was the prosecution pretrial attorney, and I did one round decently, and I did my best performance ever in my last trial ever. I kicked the other pretrial attorney's butt. The judge wasn't asking easy questions, either, but luckily I knew all of the answers but one. Does trying a door to a room to see if it's locked constitute a search? Anyways, it was a blast.
The mock trial dance was, amazingly, really fun. They played cool music and there were tons of people. There was even some silly string mixed in.
This year we even avoided death threats from homeless people! This weekend made all of mock trial worth the effort.
