I miss this day every year and always realize it a few days or weeks later and I'm always SO SAD! But this year I happened to see someone tweet about it who's 8 hours ahead of me so I'M HAPPY :D :D I'm gonna go find a pirate outfit to wear!! :D

I don't really have an opinion on this, especially since I've never seen Supernatural and have no plans to start, HOWEVER. I know I have many friends who watch the shit out of Teen Wolf, and others who watch the shit out of Supernatural, and many who watch both.
There is a poll going on right now:
Ultimate Slash Madness Tourney Championship: who is gayer, Sterek or Destiel?
Some of the Sterek fans commented that they think if Sterek wins it might help influence the gay creator of the show even more toward making Sterek more legit in the show itself. Who knows whether or not that's true at all but it's certainly an interesting anthropological concept about the way culture has changed so much that now fangirls/boys seeing slash where there is none might actually influence the slash to occur itself...
