Two things.
One:
You can enter a contest to win the upcoming releases of anime season 1 & 2 -- but the catch is it will only be shipped to you if you live in the US or Canada. I guess you could enter from another country, give an address of a friend in North America, and have them send it to you?
(I entered and I really want to win!)
Two: I'll probably repost an entry about this later but heads up post!
Go Natsume 伍! campaign is live!
This is an international fan campaign with the dual purpose of thanking the Japanese creators with fan representation from around the world, and showing international fan support for any possible future 5th anime season.
How? A whole bunch of ways-- collecting pictures from fans that we'll print in yuujinchou we create for the Japanese creators, making our own Natsume Yuujinchou - Fan Season with pictures from fans and little stories, collecting pictures of postcards and fanworks and fanart and more to compile together-- all to say thank you and we love you to Midorikawa-sensei (mangaka/series creator), Brain's Base (anime creators), and Hakusensha (manga publishers).
This campaign also happens to be near and dear to my heart because the whole thing started after I wanted to send something into a campaign like this, asked at
yuujinchou if any sort of campaign existed, and found out it didn't-- BUT that a number of awesome people were willing to work to make it happen. I'm happy to say I'm on the Go Natsume 伍! Team and that this campaign has become way cooler than I ever anticipated when I first asked that question -- and that we're continually thinking about new ideas to make this campaign even more fun.
If you love Natsume Yuujinchou, please check out the
Go Natsume 伍! website and consider sending something in-- or at the very least
spreading the word.
By the way, most of the site is translated into 13 different languages. Click the drop down menu on the main page if a language other than English is easier for you.
