I am so useless. I'm supposed to be working on chapter 18 but I just can't focus. I'm probably going to have to go back to the original version with editing changes rather than rewriting because what I started, I don't like very much.

I can't get any shit done. I just lose my inspiration so easily sometimes, it seems-- it's aggravating.

WHATEVER. I'm going to try to do something productive tonight though so I won't feel so lame spending non-writing time on my birthday tomorrow. Although maybe that's lame to feel like I have to be productive on my birthday too, idk.

FEELINGS. ARRRR! *shakes fist*

My upstairs neighbors were being obnoxious with noise so I turned on Lamb radio and now I can't seem to turn it off. Is this a problem? I have yet to decide.

Today at work I was joking with a coworker about Europe and assorted sundries. We got on the topic of history and how old things are there compared to here. I mentioned my favorite Eddie Izzard quote for those discussions and then:

him: When I stayed in Germany with a German family, they had a 13 year old girl. One time she was doing her homework and she asked me for help. I said-- *shakes his head* I told her, "One of the things I like most about being American..." -- and her eyes got wide and she leaned in closer -- "...is that we only have 250 years of history to worry about. You guys have thousands." She laughed for 5 minutes, then translated it for her grandfather who didn't speak English, and he laughed too.

me: haha yeah, but even those 250 years I can't keep straight..
him: Yeah, I know
me: I'm like-- I dunno, there was a war...
him: There was a boat somewhere...
me: Stuff happened. Someone got mad.
him: XD 'someone got mad...' Something happened...
me: There was probably a fight. I dunno, somebody yelled...
him: And here we are today.
me: This would be us teaching History class, and it would be amazing XD

Finally, I read Seven Days today and I really liked it. I kind of want to reread it again even though I just finished it an hour ago. I wish there was more to read. Why do manga authors keep making interesting couples only to end it when there could be so much more story to tell? WHY MUST MANGAKA RUIN MY LIFE THIS WAY I ASK YOU.
