Sirius/Remus fic recs -- if you were in my heart / i'd surely not break you

so... wow. i haven't ever really been into the Harry Potter fandom because, frankly, it scares me. some of the stuff i stumbled upon in my first foray was enough to make me not want to bother ever going back. plus, i'm about half-het-shipper for the series, with a few scattered yaoi i can see.
the only one i thought of when i was reading the books that i wanted to read outside of them was Sirius/Remus. i hadn't ever really looked into it, though, because ... again. the trauma. maybe i just found bad sites, i dunno. it's like in Gundam Wing, running into Sephiroth and the infamous panther fic all over the place and not realizing people like Sunhawk and Clary Sage exist, maybe.
however! problem rectified! i was recommended Veronica P. (link to all Harry Potter fics is here) over in the HP fandom, and i love her! her Sirius and Remus are so great... really, the characters in general rock. but i'm especially in love with her Remus, which is great because he's my favorite character. she has a small army of fics ranging from super short to decent-length, though i long for a nice, solid multi-parter from her. she has a range of pairings, even within the S/R she does, and some of the fics are not S/R at all. some are het, some are not. she's just fucking awesome.
i haven't read the majority of her fics still, and i was only idly browsing through them alphabetically and am only at F, and i skipped quite a few even then... but these are my favorites that i recommend so far, for any possible Sirius/Remus lovers out there. some have het in them. quite a few include swearing. some are above PG. i put her summary in italics right after it. some may have spoilers, so check her notes.
**Beat the Devil - The frustration is likely to kill him before the Death Eaters do.
**Caught With Their Pants Down - "More interested in your meat and two veg than the roast and potatoes, huh? Can't say I blame her for that."
**Dog in the Manger - Sirius is looking for an orgasmic good time.
**Eclipse - "In the daylight, when James is around, he knows Sirius doesn't even see him."
**Ennui (La Ronde in Four-Four Time) - James is bored, Sirius is randy, Lily is naughty, and Remus just wants to get laid."
**Everything's Not Lost - "I'm a dead man, Remus, and you may as well be. What better place is there for us than together?"
**Fifty Dollars for the Powder Room - It rained the day Remus moved into the flat above Sirius's.
..clearly i like her a lot if i'm already recommending several. anyway, S/R makes me happy. it's the only yaoi pairing i ship in HP, but i love it a lot if done right.
