Im Michelle, friends and family call me Shelly. The only people that call me by my proper name are the people I work with (thats what it says on my name tage) and my cousin Brett. My birthday is August 27,1987. Im 18, and live with both my parents. Im a daddy's girl, am spoiled, and love expensive things. I have one sister who lives in Syracuse,Ny. Megan will be 23 this March 15. We really never got along, but now shes older and so am I, so we get a long better now. The one thing that bugs me about her is that she tries to be my mother, its irritating, but I know she means well.We are complete opposites, and growing up I always said "I never want to be like her!". Now when I look back, I copied off her in a lot of ways. I listened to her music, liked her clothes, and wanted to be smart like her.One thing I really miss about her is that she played the violin. Megan was really very good. I have a boyfriend, Ed, who I love sooo very much. We have been together for about 8 months, and sometimes things are really difficult with us. Im very happy though, and because of him I dont smoke anymore, and care more about myself than ever. He tends to be controlling and sometimes jealous, also sometimes mean. I'm sensitive and also pretty jealous. I really don't take kindly to his rudeness, but sometimes I never say anything. I tend to bottle up my anger, and eventually lash out screaming and yelling, then crying. He means the world to me. I said I have one sister, but I guess you could say I have two. Caroline is my best friend, and we really dont see much of eachother anymore, but I'll always be there for her. In some ways we are a lot alike, but then also very different. I value her friendship more than anything. Shes the type of friend I would want to be in my wedding, and my kids would call her aunt. If she went to jail, I'd bail her out. On my moms side, I have a grandma,my aunts mom whom I call grandma and her boyfriend Earl my Aunt Barb, Uncle Nelson(my moms brother), cousins Lauren Brad and Brett, plus a large set of 2nd and 3rd cousins. On my dads side, I have a grandpa, an Aunt Sue, Uncle Bob(daddys brother), cousin Nicole, RJ, and Mike. Also, I have a dog Snickers, shes a sheltie and is 13, and a cat Ashes, shes a tabby and is 14.
I graduated highschool last June, and since then I guess things have been different for me. I have a new job at Olgas Kitchen, originally as a hostess, but now Im training to be a waitress. I got to school at HFCC, take Composition, Medical Terminology, and Computers in Healthcare Technology. I wouldn't really say Im smart, but schools easy for me. I really dont like teachers, and prefer to teach myself. I only ask them questions when I cant figure something out, its just better that way. It's easy for me not to pay attention in class, and still get an A or B, that works well for me. At college I thought things would be harder, but when I got into the swing of things, pulled of a B+ on my first paper in which I put absolutely no effort into, I realized that I could go back to my old ways. I love to learn, about everything. Im a nerd, and I like it. History, all sorts, world, US, European, and ancient, is my passion. Anything to do with it, I love! The only thing that can be difficult for me is science, but still, I do good. I like music, though Im not one of those "music is my life" people. I like most kinds, and really like to listen to classical. Its beautiful, and relaxing. And although Im not an artist, I found art fascinating, especially from the renaissance. My favorite painting is by Botticelli, "Primavera".
