here goes again I hope i can remember!
Alright so last night I went to see the play Ragtime at the pabst. It was done by Dominican high school, it was the first time this play has been done by a high school, and i was a little unsure as to what the quality of it would be. So first of all the story Ragtime is amazing. It is mostly about the american dream and whether or not there is such a thing. It takes place in 1906 so it has alot to do with racism immagrants and basically being a decent human being. I was able to relate to it alot due to the issues currently existing in the world today. Sometimes I almost feel ashamed of America. It's so wierd. I cant really express the way I feel about this war. That being said Dominican did a lovely job with the play. They had some excellent singers especially the guy who played Coalhouse.
I went there with my friends Karina Paul and Megan. We also saw my friends Barry Karissa Tim and Ashley. Barry as always is the most confusing creature under the sun. As you know I have been directing a little extra thought to my friend Rhett. While I by no means thought he was perfect I did find out some interesting facts about him last night. First Barry mentioned that Rhett and Mike aren't as innocent as we thought and then Megan said something about him drinking. I dont like to be a gossiper so I dont know how much this will effect me but it certainly has given me alot to think about. Well after the show I said hi to katie and haley and everyone and then me karina megan and chris (also in the play)talked for a while. Laughed for a while would probably be more accurate. It was absolutely pricless!
I am sooooo excited for the New York trip! I totally cant wait and it is getting so close! It should be really interesting!
::sigh:: what an eventful night.
let's hope my head doesnt explode from thinking so much. not much i can do to stop it though. so much to think about!!
