(no subject)
It's been forever since I've updated, omgsh things have been so hectic with Summer Band and everything, I'm really glad now that I dropped dance for the summer, because I wouldn't be able to juggle all of this for these 3 weeks. I'd die.
The first week passed faster then I expected it too (that's not saying much) We ended up having to have Piccolo tryouts this year, oh wow I was so nervous for those, but yeah. Manda, Kristen, and I are on picc again this year. hm what else. Marching looks so much better then it ever has, we've spent so much more time on every little detail, and I've been ready to kill myself at times during it (on wednesday/thursday we were STILL on forwards march, whereas we'd normally be ad hipshifts and reversals) but it really is paying off, so hopefully it'll really help us this year, maybe we'll make it to state? who knows. The new lesson/master class teacher isn't bad, she's really nice, a little boring sometimes, but I think this year will be a bit more positive than last...I have a lesson w/ her tomorrow so we'll see how that goes. Leadership has already started to have some problems and its gotten kinda stressful, hopefully we can work them out soon cuz it'll be a l o n g 3 months it we don't.
Tuesday, Collins, Manda, and I went to the mall to go shopping for Collins's date =) It was exciting! She got a really cute top with jewelry and all that fun stuff, and then manda and I for barbie trucker hats. haaa, and we wore them Wednesday. heck yes.
Friday was the band picnic...oh. so fun. hung out with a bunch of people, took some great pictures ;) and yeah, not much to update on that. Oh, except I got pushed/pulled in the pool. yeah that sucked. By John and jess, thanks Jess, I appriciate it. haa but she got pushed in too, so yeah, I didn't care after that.
Saturday, I picked Kimmy up and went to visit adam at the pool! whoo I love that kid, I miss seeing you and talking to you adammm! We went to wendy's and were getting ready to leave, and my car wouldn't start. omgsh. I was really pissed. I tried so many times and then kimmy hits the freaking dashboard and it starts. what the heck is that?! Ah but whatever, so yeah then we went to target and I got the Jessica Simpson CD and stuff for my car, exciting. I know.
Saturday night was the leadership meeting thing at my house, wow. that was interesting. I seriously didn't realize a game of outburst could get that loud. hahaha wow but yeah it was fun. And Manda and I got collins ready for her date...I did her make up! whoo I was really proud, and she looked soo pretty! ahh! it was adorable, Collins I <333 youu!
So yeah, church today, + VBS, and yeah...not much else to update. So yeah more later.
