Come What May
Haven't updated in a few days cause I've been really busy, sorry =/
Tuesday was my birthday! :0) I got my hair redone that day....my roots were absolutely awful, it was gross. And then I was supposed to go get annual pictures taken (for my mom to send to relatives and all that fun stuff) but my eye was incredibly red and yeah it was bad. So she told us that it would show up in the picture and that my eye looked really bad...well I couldn't feel it so I didn't know, but yeah, My mom made me go to the eye doctor in the mall and stuff...yeah apparently my cornea's are incredibly scratched...well that's fun. So the guy gave me perscription eye drops and all that fun stuff. Well, he also told me that I couldn't wear my contacts for 4 or 5 days...hm I definitely didn't follow that one. *oops?*
But yeah, after that we went up to my aunt and uncles for the huge birthday celebration, we celebrated my bday, elma's bday, and hayden's bday, plus my uncle going back to school. All in all it was a really good evening, I got to play with Ethan all night, who is absolutely adorable. WOW. And I got a DIGITAL CAMERA! AH I was so excited, plus my uncle gave me some of his salsa as my gift from him, I was definitely not disappointed at all. He makes the best salsa e-v-e-r.
Wednesday was spent at 6 flags with leadership...pretty good day if I may say so. I love roller coasters...whoo! I rode up there with Steffie, KT, and Manda...haa that was an experience all in itself. But it was so much fun. But yeah, We (Manda, Steffie, KY, and Shelley) walked around on our own for most of the day, just riding all the rides and having a good time. Eventually we ended up spliting up cuz Steffie and I wanted to shop and Manda, KT, and Shelley wanted to ride more stuff, but we ended up meeting up with boys and riding more rides. Soo yeah, despite all the fights after we left 6 flags, I still had a good time.
Thursday I woke up early and babysat Gracie and Ian till like 1 or so. Gracie is the most adorable 2 yr old in the world and she's so freaking smart. wow. Ian slept just about the whole time, so it was just Gracie and me hanging out for most of the day. After, I went home to just kinda relax before we went to the Oasis that night, lots and lots of fun. :0) Especially in Em's car...hahahaha.
Friday...Went to babysit Gracie and Ian again, which was again a whole lot of fun, even though Ian (again) slept the whole time. I couldn't go to Zilker because of babysitting, which kinda sucked, but eh oh well. Hope those of y'all that went had a great time! :0) Went to an Express game that night w/ Em and Andrea and I saw Chelsea!!! I missed her :( but yeah, we talked for awhile and hung out and stuff, it was fun. Afterwards I ended up going w/ Greg and all the guys to Gregs house to play Trivial Pursuit...which I'm incredibly bad at. I hadn't heard of ANY of that stuff. But uh, Bert? yeah he's a freaking genius, it's sick how smart that guy is. But yeah, hung out there for awhile until Brad had to take me home...twas fun. :0)
Anndddd yesterday. Went to an eye doctor appt at 3:30 and say in the freaking waiting room for an hour or more so that the guy could look at my eyes for a MINUTE AND A HALF and tell to keep using the drops (which I was supposed to be doing anyways) and then tell me to go home. What a freaking waste of time.
After was the church "neighborhood group" cookout at ours and ML's house. Virginia, Madeline, and I basically played with the little ones the whole time, it was fun. Emily, Katherine, Gracie, Meg, ahhh they are all the cutest kids ever. So I played with them in the pool and we went on the trampoline...all that fun stuff that would keep them occupied and make them tired enough to go to sleep in the car. haa yeah.
And today...was Father's Day and my dad had to leave to go to Washington D.C. Yeah. That bites. But hm yeah, we went to church and to lunch before we had to take him to the airport. My mom, Bro, and I all went shopping afterwards, which was incredibly successful! :0) Andddd this has gotten incredibly too long, I'll write more later.
