OMG, this is too priceless.

It completely shows the utmost stupidity and ignorance of our society. All at the hands of one news anchor. If I had seen this I would have thrown the remote at the tv too.

"Just a wee little ranty-poo. I sometimes shock myself with how angry I get at clueless people. I yell at the TV very frequently. I'm an avid, avid supporter of exclusive breastfeeding for at least the first six months, of course. Makes plenty of sense. Like any milk any animal produces for its offspring, breastmilk is ideal food for infant growth, the facts are there, it's cut and dry.

Many of the rest of you may have seen this on your local news or Geraldo or something. There's a big fuss right now about these two puppies who turned their backs on the kibble their owners were feeding them to nurse from a mother pig who was still nursing her litter of piglets. (Which, in and of itself is very cool and definately says something.) The female anchor for my local news station (who just looks stupid, though I'm not sure if she actually is.) Says aloud, after the segment, "You have to wonder what kind of impact that's going to have on those puppies! Is that even healthy? They're going to need serious therapy when they grow up."

I almost threw my remote at the screen. You can sit there and ponder the impact feeding pig's milk to an infant dog is going to have on them, but it's perfectly acceptable to not ponder the impact of feeding cow's milk (or worse yet, chemically rendered fake milk) to a human infant? I just don't get it. I know this topic has been rehashed 8237498237482 times, but when she said that my head almost exploded. How can you not connect synapse A to synapse B? It's like watching the people on American Idol who think they can sing. Except this anchor seems to think she can think."
