I'm glad that M's dad dinner was a success. He got all dressed up, awww.. M is older than me, but he says that I am more mature than him. Go figure. Finding M after losing contact for a couple of years has been fun. I hope that I am as good a friend to him, as he has been for me these last few weeks.
It was a hot weekend. Just thinking made me sweat. Sat was the hottest day. Next week is the Destiny Childs concert (DC). I'm made that I had to get my tickets all extra late and we got crappy seats. They had a presale for people with American Express cards and people who worked at McDonald's which left me with crappy seats. Oh well, at least I got some tickets. I am learning to look at bad situations and find the good in them. No use being frustrated and mad. I just finished reading this excellent book by Joel Osteen entitled, Your Best Life Now (which should be underlined because it's a book title). A great book. I want M to read it, shoot I want everyone to read it. Very insightful.
