She was waiting for Ryan to pick her up for the wedding that he had agreed to go and she was nervous. They had been dating for sometime now, yet she had never introduced him to her family. Now she was taking him to a cousin’s wedding where he would be on display for her family and her family would be on display for him. It didn’t help that Ryan was running late because of a snafu at his dry cleaners, so she was worried about what he would show up wearing. As the doorbell rang, Calleigh took a deep breath and told herself that she had faced worse things than introducing her boyfriend at a wedding. She opened the door and was pleasantly surprised to find Ryan standing there in a dark grey suit.
”I thought you said your suit was navy blue?”
”I did, but since the cleaners messed up, I went out and bought a new one.”
”You didn’t have to do that,” Calleigh said as she locked her door.
“No but I wanted to since I know how important this is for you.”
